Jib Cranes

A Jib Crane is a type of crane where a horizontal boom supporting a moveable hoist is fixed to a wall or to a floor-mounted pillar.  The jib may be fixed or swing through an arc to give additional lateral movement of up to 360°.

O'Brien builds the finest Jib Cranes in North America with the widest range of styles and capacities from 250 lbs to 22000 lbs, with standard boom lengths up to 38 ft, specials up to 64 ft, mast heights to 35 ft and over.  Styles include: wall mounted, free standing, or floor to ceiling mount.  We also provide radial or axial rotation and manual or power driven jibs!  Articulated booms are well suited for confined workspaces.  Wall traveling jib cranes are also available.  Reduce labour costs and avoid time lost on waiting for an overhead crane or a lift truck. One jib crane can be handled easily by one person and is highly cost effective.
